This was another warm fall day that we’ve been having, so Caitlin and I decided to venture to the Copley market. Now, when I think of the Copley market I tend to think about one thing in particular… DONUTS! They have, in my opinion, some of the best apple cider donuts. They’re always fresh, loaded with cinnamon and sugar and they’re simply delicious. Of course, along with our donuts, took pictures too for this next look.
Fringe : a trend that has been on the rise this season and is incorporated into many different pieces. It’s a versatile look that can be dressed up or down. You’ll see fringe dresses, bags, shoes, etc.
For this look, I paired a fringe top, fringe booties and a fringe bag. When deciding what I wanted to pull together for the fringe outfit I really wanted to incorporate all the fringe that I own.
I started with the booties and then when I found the fringe top I knew I had to make it work; so by rolling up my jeans to be able to see the black socks gives this look contrast and fluidity.
Along with the black socks I added the black fedora to, again, go along with the contrast of the black. Then with the booties and bag it gives a pop of tan-ish brown and marsala.
This particular bag hits more than one trend, which is why I loved it when I saw it (I’ve also gotten tons of compliments on it). The color of 2015 is marsala. It’s an eye catching, wine color. Along with the color comes, of course, the fringe trend. Also, the chain strap is a detailed trend for bags that was seen everywhere on the runways during the Spring Fashion Weeks (which is when Fall 2015 trends are featured.)
Overall, this is a look that could be worn everyday; whether you’re going out for a walk, shopping, grocery shopping, etc. Although this particular outfit isn’t quite up to par for a night out, there are so many fringe looks that can be for any time of the day and or year!
